1983 April Established Investment Enterprise Partnership (NIF1).
October Established Daiwa Finance Co, Ltd.
1984 January Established NIF International (Asia) Ltd.
1987 June Established Hotung Venture Capital Corporation with Chiao Tung Bank, a government-owned development bank in Taiwan.
2000 April Nippon Investment & Finance Co, Ltd. and Daiwa Finance Co, Ltd. merged to form NIF Ventures Co., Ltd.
2005 October NIF Ventures Co., Ltd. and SMBC Capital Co., Ltd. merged to form NIF SMBC Ventures Co., Ltd.
2008 March NIF SMBC Ventures Co., Ltd. was registered as a financial instruments firm (Type II Financial Instruments Business and Investment Management Business) under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law.
October NIF SMBC Ventures Co., Ltd. changed its name to Daiwa SMBC Capital Co., Ltd.
2009 February Established Ho Chi Minh Representative Office.

2015 July Daiwa Capital Partners Co., Ltd. succeeded rights and obligations of all business managed by Daiwa Corporate Investment Co., Ltd. through a company split and concurrently changed its name to Daiwa Corporate Investment Co., Ltd.
