Toshitake is the head of investment of our domestic funds, engaging in startup investment since 2016. Before joining us, he engaged in buyouts and growth investing in Asia at Daiwa SMBC PI for 10 years. He also has experience in bond trading, listed equity analysis, and asset allocation at a major Japanese life insurance company.

Kosuke focuses on investing in domestic manufacturing startups. He has been in charge of DCI High-Technology Ventures L.P. and Metro. Tokyo Ventures L.P. since 2014. He joined us in 2005.

Keita has engaged in domestic startup investment with us since 2015, supporting growth of startups that strive to bring innovation in fields such as machinery, construction, logistics, chemistry, and semiconductors. He was previously involved in management and operation of the defined contribution plan at another company in Daiwa Securities Group.

Tomoko has been in charge of investment for the DCI Venture Growth Fund since 2018, mainly investing in IT and Deep Tech companies. Prior to this, she was also in charge of investment for the DVF I L.P. Tomoko joined us in 2008.

Toshiyuki has engaged in domestic startup investment since joining us. He returned from Daiwa Securities in 2015, where he was involved in sales and acquiring lead IPO underwriters. He also has experience in buyouts and combining debt and equity financing at a major Japanese bank.

Sho has focused on domestic startup investment since joining us in 2017. He previously engaged in asset management consulting at Daiwa Securities. "Let’s create the future together!" says Sho. He is a concert and music festival goer, loves board games and anime.

Dongxue has engaged in domestic startup investment since joining us in 2021. She previously engaged in private equity investment in China and Southeast Asia at Daiwa PI Partners. She also has experience in asset consulting for domestic unlisted companies at Daiwa Securities Group.

Naoyuki has engaged in domestic startup investment since joining us in 2023. He began his career at Daiwa Securities in 2020 and spent 3 years working on asset management consulting in the Kansai area. "I came here to support startups with the potential to benefit our society. Funding inquiries are always welcome!" says Naoyuki.

Takaya joined us in 2023. He focuses on early-stage domestic startups, engaging in identifying targets, executing investments, and providing post-investment support. He looks forward to working with startups and entrepreneurs that create new industries.

Seho has engaged in domestic startup investment since joining us in 2023. His passion for startups ignited during his university years, where he was captivated by their energy and potential. He endeavors to work with entrepreneurs to cultivate a society where individuals have more freedom to choose their paths.

Yukio has a wide range of experience in the front office, engaging in the execution and exit of investment, as well as hands-on support for the investee companies. He has worked at a system integrator and a financial institution before joining us.

Nobuo is the chief operator of the fund that specializes in high-tech, manufacturing startups. He also contributed to the formation of this fund. He was at a general trading company before joining us and also has experience in combining debt and equity financing at a major Japanese bank.

Since joining us, Masahiko has executed numerous investments to companies in various fields, at different stages. In charge of the DCI High-Technology Ventures L.P. and Metro. Tokyo Ventures L.P., he has contributed to the growth of Japanese manufacturing startups.

Kensuke is in charge of the Great East Japan Earthquake SMEs Recovery Support Fund L.P. Prior to joining us, he engaged in the M&A of listed companies as well as underwriting listed companies and privatized projects at Daiwa Securities. He also has experience in the planning of startup development policies at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan.

Atsushi is in charge of the Great East Japan Earthquake SMEs Recovery Support Fund L.P. He has extensive experience in the middle and back office, involved in fundraising, investor support, and fund management. He previously engaged in combining debt and equity financing at a major Japanese bank as well.
